The prices at Top Notch are reasonable, too! All burgers are under $5, there sides are all under $3 and even their fish/shrimp and other kinds of dinners are no more than $10. Needless to say, we had a lot of leftovers! These characteristics (in my opinion) are a fantastic combination for the best fried chicken possible! We also added some sweet potato fries and tater tots as our sides. It was amazing! It had the perfect amount of crispiness, just the right amount of flavor, and was extremely juicy. Since there were 4 of us, we got the 12 piece which was only a relatively decent price of $23.99. I honestly cannot remember the last time I’ve had fried chicken this delicious. But what I got was the fried chicken, which was to die for. Much of the menu at Top Notch has stuck to the traditional hamburger varieties, sandwiches and milkshakes. Plus, anyone remember a little move by the name of “Dazed and Confused”? Well, one scene of this classic film was actually filmed right here at the restaurant itself? So not only does this restaurant have great food and a retro feel, but it was also featured in one of the most iconic films to ever be made.Įven though the name is called “Top Notch Hamburgers”, Top Notch has quite the large variety of good food that one restaurant can offer. Located on Burnet Rd, this restaurant is truly a ‘blast to the past’ (with a great menu as well!) WIth an easygoing and relaxing atmosphere, Top Notch is definitely the way to go when looking for somewhere nice to chill on a Saturday night.
